Site manager on the team
Ståle Gundersen (42) will be responsible for the facility hotel on Brakerøya.
The site manager for the facility hotel comes from the Quality Hotel River Station in Drammen. At Stordalen's largest hotel investment in Drammen, he was responsible for food and drink. He was among those who were early on in that project and one of those who laid the foundations before the hotel opened on 1 November 2019.
– We are very pleased to have Ståle on the team. He is a hotelier, knows his trade and has been involved in hotel openings in the past, says general manager Odd Jensrud at Fjordbyen Innkvartering.
Gundersen will once again be at the forefront of a new venture in Drammen.
– This job is a unique opportunity to be involved from the very beginning and build something new in what is in many ways a tenderloin in one of the most exciting areas in Drammen in the years to come, says Gundersen.
He is a chef by profession and since his education has stuck to hotels and catering. Before Quality Hotel River Station, he was operations manager at Arena Marienlyst for Strømsgodsets Topfotball. This means being responsible for all events.
