Here is the list showing what is included in our prices:
- Single room with bathroom and associated common areas.
- Full board includes breakfast, the option to make a packed lunch, coffee, and dinner.
- Weekly cleaning, trash removal, and towel change.
- Bed linen is changed every 14 days.
- Additional cleaning and changes of bed linen and towels can be ordered for an extra fee.
- Health and safety measures may impose restrictions on food service and accommodation.

We are concerned with sustainability. Here are our ethical principles.
Scope
Ethics governs choices we make as a company, as employees on the company's roads and for suppliers of goods and services where the collaboration is based on a written contract. Fjordbyen Innkvartering must be run in a responsible and sustainable manner. We care about people and the environment around us. We prioritise health and quality of life and will be a driving force behind green solutions. Our actions must be responsible towards future generations.
The UN Global Compact
We must operate in line with the UN's Global Compact (sustainability and business). Our ethical choices are based on human rights, working life, the environment and anti-corruption.
Human rights
We support and respect the protection of internationally recognized human rights. We must do everything we can to ensure that our operations and our actions do not contribute to violations of human rights.
We have zero tolerance for disrespectful behaviour, bullying, discrimination, harassment or unwanted sexual attention. We embrace and promote an inclusive culture.
We strongly distance ourselves from all types of trafficking and human trafficking and do not accept prostitution.
Working life
We must have orderly working conditions. Working hours, wages and allowances must comply with legislation and agreements. We respect and build on freedom of association and recognize the right to collective bargaining. We will actively oppose all forms of forced labour, and do everything we can to abolish and prevent child labor and discrimination in working life.
Environment
We are committed to protecting the environment and contributing to a more sustainable world. Our environmental choices must be characterised by a "precautionary" attitude. We want to promote increased environmental responsibility and will actively work to promote the development and use of environmentally friendly technology.
Availability
All people have equal value and equal rights. It also includes the way we meet employees and guests. Everyone must be treated equally and offered equal opportunities.
Taxes and corruption
We have zero tolerance for tax, customs and duty evasion, as well as bribery and corruption. It includes embezzlement, money laundering, extortion, fraud and favouritism to family or friends, including benefits and gifts that may influence business decisions with us or those we work with.
Privacy (GDPR)
We collect and process personal data about guests, employees and customers in line with the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Confidential information is stored securely and in line with the personal data policy agreed with the individual employee, guest or visitor.
Transparency
Our business must be conducted with transparency and integrity. Our ethical principles must be followed.
Notification
We will investigate all reports of suspected and known breaches of ethics. Necessary measures must be implemented based on the results of the investigations. No one who reports in good faith should experience negative consequences.
Complianse
Electronic key entry via phone or code is used for access to the canteen.
Breakfast is served between 05:30–07:30 Monday-Friday and 07:00–10:00 Saturday–Sunday.
Packed lunches can be made during breakfast.
Dinner is served in the canteen Monday–Friday 18:00–20:0 and 17:00–19:00 Saturday–Sunday.
There are 24-hour kiosk vending machines at the reception, these accept all major credit cards.
Wifi is available in all rooms as well as canteen. Use Fbinn guest network. The passwords is fbinn-2021.
House Rules
- Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation. Violation of this rule will result in a charge of NOK 1500 excluding VAT per offense.
- Smoking og any other activity in the rooms or in the corridor/common areas that triggers a fire alarm will result in a charge of NOK 5000 excluding VAT to be covered by the customer.
- Fire doors must be able to be used for evacuation. Outwear and dirty shoes should be stored in designated lockers.
- Clean up after yourself and dispose of trash in the appopriate bins.
- It should be quite on the rig after 22:30.
- It is not allowed to take food, drinks, plates, cutlery, or glasses out of the canteen, except for packed lunches. Inspections may occur.
- Treat others as you would like til be treated.
- Violations of the rules may result in removal from the accommodation.
- If you have any questions or wish to notify us of anything, call: +47 919 09 218, it is manned between 08:00–20:00. In case of emergencies, it is available 24 hours a day.
- If the fire alarm goes off, evacuate calmly and meet at the assembly point behind building D.
Prices
- Our current daily rate is NOK 994 (the accommodation portion is NOK 631). No discount is given for online bookings up to 50 room nights per month.
- The following discounts can be obtained:
- 51–300 room nights per month: 15% discount.
- 301–900 room nights per month: 35% discount.
- Over 900 room nights per month: 40% discount.
- Extra cleaning with a change of bed linen and towels costs NOK 120 excluding VAT per time.
