Changes at Fjordbyen Innkvartering
Arild Nielsen is the new General Manager, and Daniel Themte Martinsen is the new Site Manager.
Ståle Gundersen has led Fjordbyen Innkvartering since its establishment. He welcomed the first guests in the summer og 2021.
– Ståle has made a significant cuntribution during the company`s initial phase. We appreciate his efforts. At the same time, we wish him the best in his new endeavors, and we will ensure the continued solid operation and development of Fjordbyen Innkvartering, which is centrally located at Odden on Lierstranda, says the Chairman of the Board, CEO Anders Edbo at Eidos.
Third Year of Operation
Fjordbyen Innkvartering is now in its third full year of operation. The company has providet accomandation for many of the district`s construction workers, but employees from other industries are also on the guest list.
– We are great option for those who need to live and work in the region for a period of time. We have a modern facility hotel, well-established routines, and a kitchen that provides healthy and good meals. Moving forward, we aim to remain the preferred solution for those who need a good accommodation option working in our region, says Arild Nielsen.
Steady Operations
– We will ensure smooth operations with predictable and excellent service for our guest, says Daniel Themte Martinsen. He has worked closely with Ståle and has also served av the operational manager at the facillity hotel during certain periods.
– For Eidos, Fjordbyen Innkvartering is important. The business contributes to the transformation of Lierstranda, where a lot will happen in the comming years with the development of a new fjord city for 16.000 residents and just av many jobs, says Edbo.
A Large Market
Part of the reasons for etablishing the company was the construction of the new hospital on the neighboring site at Brakerøya.
– The transformation at Brakerøya is important to us. At the same time, the market is much larger. We are located near the E18, offer free parkering, and find that we also attractive to those working outside Drammen and Lier, says Themte Martinsen.
Soon, the facility hotel will be within walking distance of Brakerøya Station. A new pedestrian bridge is currently being installed, providing direct connections to all the cities in Vestfold, Kongsberg and Oslo/Lillehammer.
