Make Booking Easier
Since the opening in the summer of 2021, all booking have been manual. Phone and email booking are still available, but online booking simpliflies the procecc for customers needing accommodation for employees in Drammen for.a period of time. Additionally, it makes it easier for leisure travelers to book an affordable option.
The facility hotel, with 176 single rooms, was initially tailored for the constuction industry, whitch has had, and continuess to have, major projects in the region.
– We´re seeing that we are also a great option for many other industries and can be a good alternative for leisure travelers as well, says General Manager Arild Nielsen.
Fjordbyen Innkvartering is well-located, close to Drammen city center, the fjord, the development projects at Brakerøya and Lierstranda, and at the Brakerøya train station. It´s also quick and easy to reach the E18.
– Our guests appreciate that we have our own parking and a central location. We are just a few train stops from Oslo and the towns in Buskerud and Vestfold, says Daniel.
Online booking was etablished with a clear link from the website in September.
– The world is digital. We want to make it easier for our guests. Direct booking is time-saving and accessible from both the office and mobile devices. The feedback has been great, and it is exiting to see that the option is already beeing widely used, says Daniel.
