Offers tailored solutions for seasonal workers
Managing Director Arild Nielsen offers tailored solutions for seasonal workers.
– We guarantee proper living conditions. We’ve provided that for the construction industry since we opened the workers' hotel at Brakerøya in Drammen in the summer of 2021. During the summer season, we also have the capacity to be a reliable partner for food producers who depend on seasonal workers and often need to bring in labor from afar, says Nielsen.

Fjordbyen Innkvartering has extensive experience with seasonal workers in agriculture.
When the workers' hotel opened in summer 2021—during its initial start-up phase—one of the hotel’s four residential units was entirely allocated to agricultural customers from June through the end of September.
– Our experience shows that we’re a good alternative even for food producers located more than 30 minutes away. At that time, we organized our own buses to transport seasonal workers daily to and from farms in Øvre Eiker and the Hurum Peninsula, says Nielsen.
Fjordbyen Innkvartering offers accommodation in 176 comfortable single rooms. Breakfast and dinner are served at the hotel. Many guests also prepare packed lunches.
– We are a great option for anyone who needs to live and work in the region for a period—whether for just one night or a longer stay—and for those looking for a budget-friendly alternative. We have modern and recently built residential units. You’ll find us right next to Drammen’s new local hospital, which opens later this year. Our guests enjoy free parking, access to laundry facilities, saunas, and Wi-Fi. Plus, we’re conveniently close to both Drammen and Oslo.
